Benefits of universal student nutrition programs
Our programs support positive and inclusive eating environments for ALL students.
Students who bring lunch from home and those who may not have enough food are equally supported.
No student is singled out or identified as needing assistance, helping us avoid stigma associated with food-support programs.
Students who may feel hungry even after they've eaten their lunch from home — due to early bus schedules, long mornings, or varied appetites — have what they need to stay focused and ready to learn.
