Owner/operator Chef Tracy Winkworth of Liaison College South Coast, along with her students, recently hosted a Chili Cook Off at the Brantford Campus on Roy Boulevard, with proceeds to support Brant Food For Thought and student nutrition programs.
When asked about her commitment to youth and nutrition, Winkworth shared her belief that, “food is a right and that all children should have access to healthy food.” She was raised in an environment where food was nurturing and learning cooking skills in the kitchen was part of every day living. Chef Tracy shares her passion with her students and believes that “food should be prepared and served with integrity”.
Liaison College Southcoast also hosted a Chamber of Commerce Business After Hours Event, with proceeds from the 50/50 draw to support Brant Food For Thought.
