From now until December 24th, the annual Holiday Gift Wrap Booth is in full swing at the Lynden Park Mall. Check our new promotional video!

Located next to Santa, program volunteers are busy wrapping gifts with proceeds supporting Brant Food For Thought and local universal student nutrition programs. “It’s a win-win for the organization and nutrition programs”, says Judy Maidment, gift wrap organizer and Brant Food For Thought Volunteer Coordinator. “Student nutrition program volunteers contribute their time to help wrap gifts and they are remunerated in nutrition program dollars equivalent to the time they contribute. We couldn’t operate the booth without our volunteers and they have a great time helping out.”

Last December, 287 volunteers contributed a total of 1,077 volunteer hours to wrap gifts at the mall. Student nutrition programs benefited greatly from their generous donation of time.
